Project Poltergeist

The pitch tester teaser for Project poltergeist is now finished, and the new idea is almost ready to take to television channels. We are not going to disclose information on the idea yet .. but keep watching this space for updates on it's progress. We are still working strongly along side Club Zero to help bring out idea into reality.

Project Poltergeist

Spirit Productions joined forces with Stockport based Paranormal group "Club Zero" to produce a paranormal programme with a difference. At first we were aiming towards and entertainment programme, however, as we delved further into the subject we discovered some "unknown to television" truths about all aspects of the paranormal ranging from investigation techniques to religion and beliefs.

So we are now working on the new and improved pitch as a series of documentaries, to be filmed "Big Brother" style as we follow not only Club Zero on investigations, but look deeper into the meaning behind mediumship, and the people that are behind making a paranormal group a success. Using the simple idea of "video diaries" we will see the paranormal unfold before our eyes form the perspective of "real" people. No tricks, no lies, just raw and uncut spooky experiences,

Dean Bailey Music Video

Department: Music Videos

In February 2008, Spirit Productions had the pleasure of working along side "up and coming" artist Dean Bailey. We created a music video for his song "GSOH" which was a great success!

During the shoot we worked along side talented actresses/actors, and had the help of a fully functional, fully professional crew at Stockport College. We thank all of the 2nd Year HND media students that helped on the studio shoot, their help was greatly appreciated! We would also like to thank Victoria, Zoe, Leanne, Cian and Heather for taking part in this video!

The filming and editing of this video was a major success, and Client Dean Bailey was pleased with result. The video is viewable both on our profile page and on youtube! So check it out!

The experience of working on this shoot was great for us at Spirit Productions. Editor /Production Manager Jo Alton Said:

"It was a great video to do! The song was great! and the lyrics really gave us something to work with in the idea stage of the production. It was great fun to edit too, having that studio shoot was different for us in terms of music videos, and I feel it was a combination of that and filming in the taxi that really made it unique and great fun to edit."

Director Emma Richardson Wrote:

"Working on the Dean Bailey music video for GSOH was great fun. Everyone worked brilliantly together and it was a very enjoyable shoot. Creatively I personally feel this is one of my favorite pieces to work on. Dean was a pleasure to work with and I'm glad he is very happy with how the video turned out."

Spirit Productions are now looking forward to the next project.

Gavin Heaney Music Video

Department: Music Videos

In July 2007, our team at Spirit Productions was approached by muscial artist Gavin Heaney, and asked to film and edit a music video for his song "The Complexity". In July 2007, we met with Gavin to discuss some ideas and brainstorm some locations to film. Gavin had alot of his own ideas that he wanted to include so we worked with what he wanted and created a "story line" for the video. Over the summer we filmed and edited the video, with Emma as Director, Gina as Producer, Sarah as the camera operator and Jo as the Production Manager/Editor. The result was pleasing for all of us and the shoot itself was an enjoyable experience.

Producer Gina Smith said, "I think communication kept the project afloat at all times, the organisation by Jo was spot on as was the direction by Emma. Sarah did a grand job of getting the shots needed and consequently the end product is something to proud of...it looks really good."

Production Manager/Editor Jo Alton said,

"I think we all worked really well together and the hard work paid off. Although I wasn't available for the shoots it was a great experience in terms of pre-production and post experience,I loved every part of it."

We are now looking forward to our next client project with Dean Bailey.
